Every Car Painting Service We Offer in Dubai

Our car painting services in Dubai cover full body respraying, single and multi-panel work, bumper repair and painting, scratch repair, denting, rim refinishing, colour change and polishing. The right service depends on how deep the damage goes and how many panels it touches — start with the triage table below and work down.

Most people arrive at a body shop knowing something is wrong with their paintwork and not knowing what to ask for. That is normal. The gap between a scratch that polishes out in two hours and one that needs a panel stripped, primed, sprayed and baked overnight is invisible to the eye but decides everything about how long your car is off the road. This page exists to close that gap before you speak to anyone.

Below is every job we run out of our workshop in the Al Quoz industrial district, what each one actually involves at the bench, where one service stops and the next begins, and how long each takes. Nothing here is a menu you have to guess your way through. Read the triage table, find the row that matches what you can see on your car, and you will know which of our vehicle paint services in Dubai you are booking.

Start here: match your damage to the right service

Paint damage sits in layers. On a modern car the panel is steel or aluminium, then primer, then the colour coat, then a clear coat that carries the gloss and takes the UV punishment. Which layer the damage has reached is the single fact that determines the service — not the length of the mark, not how bad it looks in direct sun.

Which car painting service do I need?

Run the fingernail test first. Drag a nail lightly across the mark. If it glides over without catching, the damage is sitting in the clear coat and machine polishing will almost certainly clear it. If the nail catches in a groove, the clear coat is breached and paint has to go back on. That one test separates roughly two thirds of the enquiries we get.

Then count panels. A bonnet, a roof, a boot lid, four doors, two wings and two quarter panels are separate panels; bumpers are treated separately again because they are plastic. Damage on one or two panels is always handled panel by panel. Once four or more need paint, the conversation changes shape entirely, and we explain why further down.

One caution about the table. It tells you what the damage most likely calls for, not what your car definitely needs. A scratch on a flat door skin and the same scratch running over a swage line are different jobs, because paint behaves differently at an edge. Send one clear photo taken in shade with the whole panel in frame and we will confirm the row before you drive anywhere.

Full body painting for sedans, SUVs and hatchbacks

A full body paint job in Dubai means the entire exterior comes off the car in terms of trim — handles, badges, lights, mirrors, mouldings and rubbers — and every panel is prepared, sprayed and cleared in the same booth session from the same mixed batch. That last detail is the whole point. Colour uniformity is not something you can assemble panel by panel over several months.

We run full resprays on three body types and each has its own rhythm. A hatchback has the least surface area and the fewest panel joins, so it moves through preparation fastest. A sedan adds boot lid, quarter panels and longer door skins. An SUV is the slowest of the three, not because the paint is different but because there is simply more of it, plus roof rails, cladding and larger tailgates that have to come off and go back on square.

What actually happens over those days

Strip and assess. Trim, lights and handles are removed and bagged. With the panels bare we find the damage that was hidden under mouldings — this is where a job either confirms the original assessment or changes it, and we tell you before we go further.

Bodywork and straightening. Dents are beaten out, creases worked back, and any filler is skimmed thin and blocked flat by hand. Filler is a shaping material, not a substitute for panel work, and a thick layer will telegraph through the paint within a Dubai summer.

Primer and blocking. The whole body is primed, then blocked back with progressively finer abrasive until the reflection running along the panel is dead straight. This stage takes longer than the spraying and is the difference between a good finish and a flat one.

Colour match and mixing. The paint code is read from the VIN plate, then checked against the actual panel, because a car that has sat in this sun for six years is not the shade it left the factory as. Enough material for the whole vehicle is mixed in one batch.

Spray and clear. The body goes into the booth and receives base coat and then clear coat in sequence, wet on wet within the manufacturer's window. Nothing is opened, moved or touched between coats.

Bake and cure. The booth is brought up to bake temperature and held there. The surface is hard when it comes out; the film underneath continues to harden for weeks, which is why we give you aftercare instructions rather than just handing back the keys.

Refit, polish, inspection. Trim goes back on, the finish is de-nibbed and machine polished, and the car is walked around under strip lighting from three angles before we call you.

Full resprays also solve a problem no partial job can touch: cars that have been repaired piecemeal over a decade and now carry four slightly different versions of the same colour. Painting the lot at once resets that permanently.

Single panel and multi-panel painting explained

A single panel respray treats one panel edge to edge — one door, one wing, one bonnet. Multi-panel painting is the same process applied to two or three adjoining panels, usually because an impact spread across a door and a quarter panel, or a shopping trolley ran the length of two doors.

Partial respray or full respray: where the line sits

The crossover is not a rule someone invented; it comes out of how paint ages. On a hatchback or sedan, once three to four panels need paint, a full respray usually wins. Every panel then comes from the same mix in the same booth session, so the colour is uniform by definition. Panel-by-panel work on a widely damaged car leaves fresh paint sitting directly against paint that has taken years of UV, and under Dubai sun that contrast becomes more visible over time, not less.

Under that threshold, individual panels are the better call every time. There is no benefit to spraying a straight, sound roof just because a door was reversed into. Less material, less disturbance to factory finish, less time off the road.

Why we spray into the panel next door

Blending is standard refinishing practice and worth understanding before anyone quotes you anything. Even a perfect colour match will show a hard edge if a new panel meets old paint at a shut line, because the two surfaces reflect light differently. So when we respray a door, the base coat is faded gradually into the adjacent wing or quarter panel and the clear coat is carried across the whole of both. The transition falls in the middle of a panel where the eye cannot find it, rather than at the join where it would be obvious.

This is why a single-door repair sometimes involves two panels on the job sheet. It is not an upsell. Refusing to blend is what produces the mismatched door you can spot from across a car park.

One panel

Isolated impact, deep scratch or localised fade. Sprayed edge to edge, blended into one neighbour. The most common job we do.

Two to three panels

Damage that crossed a shut line, or a side scraped along a wall. Handled as one continuous session so the colour runs unbroken across the side.

Four or more panels

The point where full body painting becomes the sensible route. Uniformity across the whole car becomes the deciding factor, not the panel count itself.

Bumper repair and bumper painting, front and rear

Bumpers take more damage than any other part of a car in Dubai, and they are the part most often replaced when they did not need to be. A bumper is a thermoplastic moulding, which means it can be welded, filled, reshaped and refinished in ways a steel panel cannot.

Scuffs, kerb rash on the lower lip, cracks radiating from a mounting point, split corners where the bumper pulled off its bracket, and parking sensor housings knocked out of alignment are all repairable in-house. Bumper repair and painting in Dubai is one of the fastest jobs we run, and front and rear are treated as separate items because they carry different mountings and different damage patterns — rear bumpers pick up reversing damage low down, fronts pick up stone chipping and speed bump contact.

Plastic is painted differently from metal

Three things change when a panel is plastic. First, plastic is non-porous and the surface has to be treated with an adhesion promoter or nothing will key to it. Second, a flex additive goes into the clear coat, because the moulding moves and flexes with temperature and impact in a way steel does not — without it the film cracks at the corners within months. Third, the bake temperature comes down, since a bumper will distort at the temperature a steel body panel is happy at.

Any shop that runs bumpers through the same schedule as bodywork will produce paint that lifts at the edges. If you have had a bumper repainted before and it flaked at a corner, that is almost always what happened.

Scratch repair, from polish-out to full panel respray

Our car scratch repair service spans four different treatments, and the depth of the scratch picks which one. This is where the fingernail test earns its keep.

Polish out

The mark sits in the clear coat only. Machine compounding levels the surrounding clear until the groove disappears. No paint, same day, factory finish untouched.

Smart repair

Through the clear, into the colour, but contained and away from an edge. A localised area is flatted, resprayed and blended outward. Fast, and the rest of the panel keeps its original paint.

Panel respray

Down to primer or bare metal, crossing a body line, or spread across the panel. The panel is treated edge to edge and blended into its neighbour.

Multi-panel

A key line or wall scrape running the length of the car. Treated as one continuous job so the repair does not stop and restart at every shut line.

One thing worth acting on quickly: a scratch that has reached bare metal is exposed to genuinely humid coastal air here, particularly between May and September. Steel does not wait politely. What starts as a line becomes a bubbled edge that needs cutting back, and the job gets larger the longer it sits.

Denting, dent removal and panel straightening

Denting and painting services in Dubai are usually sold as one item, and for good reason — but they are two distinct skills and it matters that both happen under one roof. Panel beating restores the shape. Painting restores the finish. A panel that has not been brought back true will show every wave in it once the gloss goes on, because gloss is a mirror and a mirror shows everything.

Dents with the paint intact

If the paint over a dent has not cracked, split or lifted, the panel can often be worked back into shape without spraying at all. Access is gained behind the panel and the metal is pushed and massaged out in stages, or specialist tabs are glued to the surface and the dent drawn out from the front. Trolley dings, door dings in car parks and hail-type dimples are the usual candidates. Dent removal in Dubai without paint is the quickest job on this page, and it keeps the original factory finish, which is always the best paint the car will ever wear.

Dents with paint damage

Once the paint has broken over the dent, the panel work and the paint work become one job. The metal is straightened, high spots knocked down, any remaining low spots skimmed and blocked flat, then primed and sprayed. Panel beating in Dubai is often the stage that gets rushed elsewhere, because filler is faster than metalwork — and filler that is doing structural work rather than cosmetic shaping is what cracks along the line of the old dent a year later.

Structural and heavier body repair

Impact damage that has moved a panel out of alignment, misaligned shut lines, or a bumper mounting torn from its bracket all fall under car body repair in Al Quoz at our workshop. Panels are pulled back to their reference points before any cosmetic work starts, because a door that closes badly will still close badly under fresh paint.

Rim painting and rim scratch repair

Kerbing an alloy is close to universal in a city of tight ramps and high kerbs. Rim work runs on its own track from body panels — different preparation, different finish options, and typically same-day turnaround per wheel.

Kerb rash on the outer lip is filled, shaped and refinished. Corroded or peeling lacquer, which is what happens when brake dust and heat get under a damaged finish, needs the wheel stripped back before rebuilding. Bent or cracked structural damage is a different matter and we will tell you honestly if a wheel should be replaced rather than refinished — a compromised rim is not a cosmetic problem.

Finishes available include the original silver or graphite, gloss or satin black, gunmetal, and matching the wheels to a body colour. Diamond-cut faces, where machined metal shows through a tinted lacquer, are a specific process and we will confirm case by case whether your particular wheel can be restored in that finish or should be refinished in a solid colour instead.

Colour change and what RTA approval involves

Changing the colour of your car in Dubai is a legal process as well as a paint process, and the paperwork happens first. The colour on your registration card has to match the colour of the car, so a change has to be approved and the registration updated before the vehicle is back on the road in its new shade.

In practical terms that means approval is organised through the RTA and the relevant vehicle authorities, the car is inspected, the respray is carried out as a full body job, and the vehicle is re-inspected and the registration amended to show the new colour. Certain finishes are treated differently from ordinary solid colours, so if you are considering matte, chrome-effect or anything unusual, confirm what is permitted before committing to it.

This is the one service that cannot be booked spontaneously. Everything else on this page can start the day you bring the car in. A colour change has to wait for approval to be in hand, so plan the sequence with us before you take time off work for it.

Touch-up, spot repair and smart repair for small damage

Not every mark deserves a full panel. Stone chips along a bonnet leading edge, a chip on a door edge, a small scuff on a wing mirror, a scrape on a door handle recess — these are candidates for touch-up and spot repair, where a contained area is treated and blended into the surrounding paint rather than the panel being taken back to bare metal.

Smart repair works well when three conditions hold: the damage is localised, it is not sitting on or across a sharp body line, and the surrounding paint is in sound condition. Where it does not work is on badly faded panels, because there is no healthy paint to blend into — the blend edge will show against paint that has already lost its depth. In that case the honest answer is a panel respray, and we will say so rather than take a shortcut you will notice in three months.

Lease returns and pre-sale preparation are where this service earns its place. A car carrying six small marks can often be cleaned up in a day without a single panel being fully resprayed.

Polishing and paint correction as the finishing step

Polishing does two jobs here. It is a standalone service for cars whose paint is sound but tired, and it is the closing stage of every paint job we deliver.

As a standalone service, machine polishing removes a microscopic layer of clear coat to level out swirl marks, wash marks, light scratches and the general dullness that comes from washing a car in a dusty climate. The gloss comes back because the surface is flat again and reflects cleanly. What polishing cannot do is restore clear coat that has already failed — once it has gone chalky, is peeling, or the colour underneath has oxidised, there is nothing left to level and the panel needs paint.

As a finishing step, fresh paint is de-nibbed and polished after baking to remove any texture in the film and bring the new work to the same level of gloss as the rest of the car. A paint job that skips this stage looks fine on collection day and slightly wrong beside the untouched panels in daylight.

Turnaround for every service at a glance

These are realistic working times for a car that arrives early in the day, assuming no hidden damage is found once panels come apart. Full resprays include cure time in the booth, which is not something that can be shortened without paying for it later in durability.

What can be combined into one visit

Denting, painting, rim work and polishing are routinely booked together as a single job sheet. If your car needs a door repaired, two wheels refinished and the whole body polished, it goes through as one visit rather than three, and the polishing is scheduled after the paint has baked so it covers old and new work in the same pass. This is the normal way we handle cars that have accumulated a list of small problems.

What cannot be combined is anything that depends on paperwork we do not control. A colour change waits for RTA approval, so it cannot be added to a booking already in progress. And no mechanical work happens while your car is here — that is a separate trade and a separate visit.

What we do and do not do. This is a paint and bodywork shop. We do not offer ceramic coating, paint protection film, vinyl wrapping, window tinting, or any mechanical, engine or transmission work. We also do not work with insurance companies and do not handle claim paperwork of any kind — every job here is paid directly. For a lot of customers that is the reason they come: no claim on record, no excess to pay, no assessor waiting on a site visit and no agency queue. You book, we work, you collect.

Where we are and how it works

The workshop is in the Al Quoz industrial district and we work across all of Dubai. If you are searching for a car painting service near me from a car park with a fresh scrape on your door, the fastest route to an answer is a photo rather than a drive. Send it, and you will know which service you need and what it means for your car before you commit to going anywhere. Opening hours are Saturday to Thursday, 9:00am to 7:00pm, with Friday by appointment, and messages are answered the same working day — usually inside the hour during business hours.

Tell us what you can see. We will tell you what it needs.

One clear photo in shade, whole panel in frame. We will match it to the right service on this page rather than the biggest one — send photos on WhatsApp and we will come back with a figure for your car.

Frequently asked questions about our car painting services

How do I know if my damage needs a full respray or just one panel?

Count the panels that need paint. One or two damaged panels are always better treated individually — there is no benefit in respraying sound, straight paint, and you keep the factory finish everywhere the damage did not reach. Four or more is where a full respray usually becomes the right call, because at that point colour uniformity across the whole body becomes the deciding factor rather than the repair itself. Every panel comes out of the same mix in the same session, so there is nothing to match. Three panels is the genuine judgement call, and it depends on where they sit: three adjoining panels down one side can be blended convincingly, while three scattered across the car cannot.

Can several different services be done in one workshop visit?

Yes. Denting, painting, rim work and polishing are routinely combined into a single booking and written up as one job sheet. It saves you a second trip and often a second booth cycle, since the panel work, the spraying and the finishing all sequence naturally into one another. The polishing is always scheduled last so it treats the repaired panels and the untouched ones in the same pass. The only work that cannot be folded into an existing booking is a colour change, because that waits on approval paperwork before the car can be sprayed.

What is the difference between spot repair and full panel painting?

Spot repair treats a localised area and blends outward into the surrounding paint, leaving most of the panel with its original factory finish. It suits shallow damage that sits away from an edge or a body line, on a panel whose paint is otherwise healthy. Full panel painting resprays the panel edge to edge, and becomes necessary once the damage is deep enough to reach primer or metal, sits on or across a body line where paint film thickness changes, or has spread across enough of the panel that a blend edge would have nowhere discreet to land. Spot repair is faster and less invasive; panel painting is the durable answer when the damage has outgrown it.

Do you paint plastic bumpers differently from metal panels?

Yes, and the differences matter. Plastic is non-porous, so an adhesion promoter has to be applied first or nothing will key to the surface. A flex additive goes into the clear coat because a bumper moves and flexes with impact and heat in a way a steel wing does not — without it the film cracks and lifts at the corners, usually within a few months. Bake temperatures are also brought down, since a bumper will distort at the heat a steel panel handles comfortably. Bumpers run through the same schedule as bodywork are exactly the ones that flake at the edges later.

Which of your services can be finished the same day?

Shallow scratch smart repairs, single rim repairs, touch-ups and stone chip work, machine polishing and paint correction, and most dent removals where the paint is unbroken. All of these assume the car arrives early in the day, since the working window matters more than the job itself. Anything that needs filler, primer and a full bake cycle will run overnight at minimum — bumpers take one to two days, a panel with blending takes two to three, and no amount of scheduling changes that, because cure time is chemistry rather than labour.

Do you repair the dent and paint it, or do I need two different shops?

Both are done in-house, which means the panel beater and the painter work on the same car in the same building and can talk to each other about it. Split jobs are where most colour and alignment problems come from: the body shop returns a panel it considers straight, the paint shop sprays it, and any remaining wave in the metal only becomes visible once gloss goes over it — at which point neither party owns the problem. Keeping denting and painting under one roof means the panel gets signed off as true by the person who has to make it look right.

Is polishing enough for my scratch, or does it need paint?

Use the fingernail test. Drag a nail lightly across the scratch: if it glides over without catching, the damage is sitting in the clear coat and machine polishing will usually clear it completely. If the nail catches in the groove, the clear coat has been breached and paint is required — polishing can soften the look of it but cannot fill it, and continuing to polish only thins the clear coat around it. One qualifier: on a panel whose clear coat has already failed or gone chalky, polishing is not an option regardless of the scratch, because there is no sound film left to level.

Do you handle aluminium panels and carbon fibre parts?

Yes to both. Aluminium bonnets, wings and tailgates are handled with separate tooling kept apart from steel work, because steel particles transferring onto an aluminium panel cause galvanic corrosion that surfaces as bubbling under the paint months later. Carbon fibre parts — spoilers, diffusers, mirror caps, bonnets on performance cars — can be refinished, and where the weave is meant to show through we rebuild the clear rather than painting over it. Any carbon work in this climate needs a UV-stable clear coat, since exposed weave yellows under sustained Dubai sun far faster than most owners expect.

Can you paint just the roof or just the bonnet on its own?

Yes, and these are the two most commonly resprayed single panels in Dubai by a wide margin. Roofs and bonnets sit horizontally and take direct overhead UV all year, so they fade, oxidise and lose clear coat long before the vertical panels beside them. When we respray one on its own, it is blended into the pillars, the wings or the top of the doors so the new work does not read as a fresh panel sitting against paint that has aged. Where the surrounding paint has faded significantly, we will show you the match before committing, so you can decide whether a panel or a wider job is the better outcome.

Do you do any mechanical repairs while the car is in for paint?

No. We offer paint and bodywork only — no engine, transmission, suspension, air conditioning or electrical work of any kind. This is deliberate rather than a limitation: the workshop is set up around preparation bays and a spray booth, and the people here are panel beaters and painters. If your car needs mechanical attention as well, book it separately either before the paint visit or after it, and let us know the sequence so we can plan around the dates rather than have the car sitting idle between two shops.
